Intended Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, NPs, PAs, and nurses with a special interest in the treatment of pain and arthritis with COX-2 selective NSAIDs and traditional NSAIDs.
Statement of Need
Things have changed. Vioxx® (rofecoxib) is no longer available. What does this mean for you and your patients and what are the options now? Understand the tradeoffs in cardiovascular risk, GI safety and clinical effectiveness of NSAIDs.

Method of Participation
This slide presentation with audio should take approximately 1 hour to complete. The participant should:
1) Read the objectives and other introductory information.
2) Listen to the approximately 1 hour of audio while viewing the 42 slides. Please note that this program was recorded and as a result, participants will not have the opportunity to ask questions of the presenter.
3) Take the post-test. The post-test can be accessed by clicking on the post-test icon that follows the presentation.
4) Login and complete the evaluation and registration information.
5) Participants who complete the post-test and evaluation will be issued a CME/CE certificate, which may be printed at their location. A database of certificates awarded online is maintained at the Dannemiller Foundation. No additional certificate will be mailed. Expiration date for credit is January 31, 2006.
